Who We Are
This blog is a beginner blogger resource blog written and edited by me, Christi, a Christian Life & Relationship Coach, and blogger. I have a Master’s of Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine, in Macon, GA, and am a FORMER Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I no longer practice mental health counseling or therapy. I utilize my educational training, Biblical principles, and my personal experience to shape the content on this site and help support new bloggers just getting started with creating a Christian blog.

Statement of Christian Faith and Beliefs
Be aware that How to Start a Christian Blog is a Christian Blog and written by me, Christi. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus was the Son of God, born of Mary, a virgin, and gave His life as a sacrifice for the sin of the world. My sin, your sin. All sin. I believe that God raised Him from the grave on the third day and He now sits at the right hand of the Father and intercedes for us all. I also believe He will come back to accept believers to live with Him in Heaven for eternity.
I realize that my experiences are just that. My experiences. They are not yours. I do not wish to press my beliefs onto you or change your mind about your own belief system. That is up to your own journey to shape you. I do believe that we can all learn from one another in various ways, and our experiences are meant to be shared, in the hopes that we can offer encouragement to others. That is my goal.
Be aware that I want to cultivate an atmosphere of encouragement in this little space of the internet. I do control the comment section. If what you have to say is not encouraging or kind, it will likely not get posted. If you disagree with me, that is great! You get to do that. You don’t have to come to visit How to Start a Christian Blog .com or read anything that is written here. There are plenty of other how to start a blog sites out in internet land and maybe one of them might be more your cup of tea. That’s okay too. I know I’m not a one-size-fits-all blogger, nor should you expect me to be that. I want you to find what you need.
There is no need to provide negative feedback to me or anyone else who may post a comment on any of my pages. This is a big world with lots of different backgrounds and beliefs, and while I do not expect you to agree with everything I write, I do expect that we can all respect differences in opinion and beliefs.
Just be kind and encouraging.
